The hunt is fully outfitted. Meals, lodging, guide, unit wide tag, and taxes are all included.
Total New Mexico elk hunt price is $14,200.
That price does NOT include your hunting license. A New Mexico elk hunting license will need to be purchased from the New Mexico Game & Fish Department. Visit their Draw Licenses & Fees page for current info.
New Mexico Elk Hunt Dates Available Are:
- Youth/Military; October 9-13, 2021
- Muzzleloader; October 16-20, 2021
- Rifle; October 23-27, 2021
The tags are in New Mexico’s elk unit 34, which is the Cloudcroft, New Mexico area.

They are 5 day hunts. You would arrive on Friday the day before the hunt, hunt Saturday-Wednesday, and depart Thursday morning.
