We often get caught up in the numbers game and forget our traditions of hunting, making memories, and providing for the family. After a great hunt that included many encounters of big and small bulls, and a miss on a good bull Dustin chose to take this bull on his first ever elk hunt. He chose to harvest this animal to provide meat for his family instead of just antlers on the wall. I called him in from 120 yards. He left his cows and came across the canyon to fight the bull that was challenging him, as he got to 20 yards, Dustin put a solid pass through shot on him and the bull went 100 yards to his final resting place. Congratulations Dustin. Can’t wait for our future hunts together!
